Bidding Guide

Here you will learn everything you need to know about bidding at our auctions – from the first glance at our offer to the purchase settlement.

Catalogue

Our catalogue is released about four weeks prior to the auction. It is available online and as a printed version. If you would like to receive the catalogue by mail, please send us a short email or message us via our contact form.

Our catalogue is richly illustrated and offers an overview of our extensive and exclusive offer from all areas of philately, as well as a wide range of collections and coins. All single lots are illustrated in color. Our descriptions are detailed and significant. Please take your time to study our offer meticulously.

Viewing

During our personal viewing appointments you will have the opportunity to examine interesting lots at leisure prior to the auction. We will welcome you on our premises in the two weeks before the auction. You will find exact dates about four weeks prior to the auction as well as on the first pages of our printed catalogue.

Bidding

You may place your written bids online or by fax if you do not wish to participate in the auction personally. Please kindly use our online catalogue or the bidding form provided.

We are happy to accept your bids by one day prior to the auction at the latest. Bids below 90% of the start price cannot be accepted.

If you decide to join our auction in person, you will receive your personal bidder number for floor bids.

In exceptional cases, bids can also be made by telephone. Please be sure to contact us in advance for this.

Invoicing

You will receive a detailed invoice for your purchased lots. You are free to pick up your lots during the auction immediately after payment.

If you would rather not pay directly or if you have placed written bids, you will receive your invoice within the first two weeks after the auction to be conveniently paid by bank transfer.

Once we received your payment, we will ship your lots by Deutsche Post or DHL. Of course you may pick up your treasures at your convenience. Please kindly call us for an appointment for us to be able to prepare your lots for you.
